Everything went according to plan. Diogo, the Portuguese guide, was a delight. Mariano, our Argentinian guide, was exceptional. If at any point you didn't understand something in English, they kindly explained it to you in Spanish. They picked us up at the agreed-upon time and took us to the glacier, stopping at a beautiful waterfall on the way there and at an Icelandic horse stable on the way back. 100% recommended.

Ice Cave Tour

At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from your hotel in Reykjavik and begin this exciting tour of the Langjökull glacier ice cave. Let's go!

Our first stop will be in the town of Húsafell, where we'll hop in a snow truck, a vehicle used for driving on ice, which will take us to the Langjökull glacier.

Once we've arrived, we'll begin to explore this artificial cave, which stretches for more than 300 metres into the body of the glacier. Do you know how they dug the tunnel? We'll discover how it was even possible to perform this amazing feat of engineering underneath thousands of years of compacted ice.

We'll explore the corridors deep into the Langjökull glacier until we find chambers with perfect acoustics and the faint blue ice which can only be found deep in the heart of the glacier. And the tour is topped off with a visit to the Ice Cave Chapel, the perfect place to try and spot the aurora borealis.

Finally, we'll say our goodbyes back at the starting point, after 9 hours together.

Demasiado tiempo de transporte, no compensa para el tiempo que estás en la cueva. Además, después de ver la cueva tuvimos más de dos horas libres porque la guía tenía que llevar a otros clientes a otra excursión. Translate this opinion into English.

Too much transport time does not compensate for the time you are in the cave. Also, after seeing the cave we had more than two hours free because the guide had to take other clients on another excursion. Opinion translated. Show original.
