Winery Visit + Dinner with Folk Show
At 6.30 pm, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Rethymno and drive to a family-owned winery. After half an hour's drive, we'll reach our destination, where we'll delve into the old winemaking tradition of Crete.
The family will show us all the techniques used in the winery to produce delicious wines, one of the main signature products of this Greek island. Did you know that the wine culture of Crete was influenced by Minoan and Venetian techniques? To round off the winery experience, we'll enjoy a tasting of three wines accompanied by a cheese platter to die for!
Next, we'll go to a restaurant in Rethymno. There, we'll experience an authentic Cretan night, as we'll enjoy a folkloric show based on traditional songs and dances performed by a local orchestra.
During the show, we'll enjoy a delicious dinner consisting of meat, Greek salad, and tzatziki. Is there a better way to end the evening?
Lastly, we'll head back to your hotel, ending the tour around 9 pm.
