Recife & Olinda Tour
Recife & Olinda Tour
After picking you up at your hotel between 7:30 and 8 am, we'll start with a sightseeing tour of Boa Viagem beach. If you want, you can board a catamaran (not included) that will take you along the coast of Recife to discover why this area has been called the "Brazilian Venice."
Those who prefer to continue the tour by land will follow the route by road until arriving at Marco Zero, where the catamaran ride also ends. From Marco Zero, we'll walk along Rua do Bom Jesus (formerly Rua dos Judeus), elected the 3rd most beautiful street in the world by the American magazine Architectural Digest.
We'll also make an optional visit to the Kahal Zur Israel Synagogue, the Embassy of Giant Dolls and the Outdoor Museum (Museo a Ceu Aberto). Next, we head to Casa da Cultura, a former detention center transformed into an area to foster creativity.
We continue with our sightseeing tour of the three islands (Recife, Santo Antônio, and Boa Vista), the Maurício de Nassau Bridge and Praça da República, where the Government Palace, the Santa Isabel Theater, and the Palace of Justice are located. The route will then continue to Olinda, where we'll visit Alto da Sé, with panoramic views of the churches of Sé and Misericórdia.
Finally, we'll return to the pickup point.
