Ras al Khaimah Bedouin Camping
Ras al Khaimah Bedouin Camping
After picking you up from your hotel in Ras al Khaimah at 2:30 pm, we'll drive to the great desert that stretches across the northern part of the United Arab Emirates, ready for our Bedouin camping experience.
The drive will bring us to an exclusive luxury tented camp, where you'll be greeted with a welcome tea or coffee. Once you've settled into your tents, you'll enjoy a camel ride through the desert dunes at sunset - a unique experience! You'll be enchanted by the desert landscapes illuminated in sunset tones.
If you prefer, you can stay at the camp to watch the sunset over the desert. You can also choose to go sandboarding in the dunes, or get a henna tattoo. Or if you want to take a refreshing dip, you can stay in the camp's pool area.
Our afternoon in the desert will end with a traditional Arabian show. While watching the traditional dances, you'll also enjoy a delicious buffet dinner with barbecue. After eating, you can gaze up at the stars in the desert sky before retiring to your haima to relax.
We recommend getting up early the next morning so that you can watch the sunrise over the desert. After this unforgettable experience you'll have breakfast at the camp, before being driven back to Ras al Khaimah. Arrival at your hotel is scheduled for 11:30 am.
Accommodation
When you make your booking, you can choose one of the following types of desert camps:
Bedouin Couple Chalet
This is the ideal type of accommodation for couples, as each haima has a maximum capacity of two people. The tents are equipped with a queen-size bed and air-conditioning, and have their own bathroom with toilet.
Nature View Chalet
This is the most recommended option for families, as each haima can accommodate two adults and two children over the age of 4. In these tents, which are 21 square metres in size, you'll sleep in king-size beds. The tents are also air-conditioned and have en-suite bathrooms with toilet.
Children under 4 years old
Children under 4 years old go free in both of the above two types of accommodation, as long as they share a bed with the adults accompanying them.
