Surfing Lesson at Double Island Point
We'll meet at around 6 am on Rainbow Beach Road and hop into a 4x4 vehicle to set off on a drive along the magnificent Australian coast. Heading down Great Beach Drive, we'll pass the spectacular Rainbow Beach and admire its colour.
Then we'll enter the heart of Great Sandy National Park before arriving at Double Island Point, a surfing paradise. We'll grab our boards and start to learn the basics of the sport on the safety of the sand.
When we're ready we'll venture into the water to ride some real waves. Double Island Point is known for having Australia's longest wave! After practising our take-offs and bottom turns until we get tired, we'll relax on the golden sands of the beach.
After an unforgettable lesson in one of the world's surf capitals, we'll make our way back to the starting point in the 4x4.

- All participants must know how to swim.
- People suffering from an injury or medical condition will not be able to participate.
