At 10 am, we'll pick you up from the selected meeting point in Quito and set off in an air-conditioned bus to the Papallacta Hot Springs.
First, we'll make a stop at the Papallacta Lagoon, a wonderful natural formation created by the settlement of lava from the Antisana Volcano on the Tambo River glacier. Views of its dark waters and the spectacular surrounding landscape will take your breath away.
Then we'll enjoy a hike in this beautiful natural environment, following the "La Isla" trail alongside the Cosanga River. During the route, we'll marvel at the different species of birds.
Afterwards, we'll head to the much-awaited Papallacta Hot Springs, where you'll have just over two and a half hours to enjoy the thermal waters as you relax in the pools of the spa area. You can also try out the steam caves (subject to availability) - you won't want to leave!
We'll return to Quito at about 6 pm.
