Ambato & Quisapincha Day Trip
Ambato & Quisapincha Day Trip
At 5 am we'll meet up on Leonidas Plaza Gutiérrez street, where we'll board a bus and set off on a road trip to the "city of fruits and flowers". Let's go!
Once we arrive in Amboto, we'll start exploring the city. Did you know that it's also known as the "cradle of the three Johns"? Let's find out who these historic figures are! Before we do so, we'll fuel up for the day with breakfast.
We'll visit the most important parks and monuments in Ambato before having lunch at a local restaurant. Afterwards, we'll visit the Atocha-La Liria Botanical Garden and the House Museum of Juan Montalvo. As we explore these iconic spots, we'll learn more about the city's history and natural areas.
Our next stop will be Quisapincha, an ancient town in the province of Tungurahua that's famous for its leather industry. You'll have some free time here to visit the shops selling this material before we set off back to Quito.
On our way back to the capital, we'll make a stop to stretch our legs in the village of Pinllo. We'll say our goodbyes at 5 pm at the starting point.
