Ecuadorian Amazon Multi-Day Tour

Day 1

Departing from Quito at the scheduled time, our journey first takes us to Tena. A brief break will allow you to stroll along the Malecón and drop off your luggage at the lodge. We'll then proceed to Baeza for a delightful breakfast before continuing to Cotundo Canyon. It's time for a hike in the heart of the Ecuadorian Amazon!

At Cotundo Canyon, we'll witness a demonstration of the medicinal properties of the mud and enjoy free time for a refreshing dip. Following a local lunch that you'll get at your own expense, we'll head over to explore the Jumandy Caves, venturing into their depths.

Finally, we'll return to the lodge in Tena, allowing you to enjoy dinner at your own expense and rest for the upcoming day.

Day 2

We'll begin the day with breakfast at the lodge before heading to Puerto Misahuallí, a mere 30 minutes from Tena. Our first stop is the beach of the capuchin monkeys, providing an up-close encounter with these adorable creatures.

Embarking on a boat ride along the Napo River, keep a keen eye out for caimans, anacondas, vibrant parrots, macaws, and toucans. Our journey will then take us to the Shiripuno community, where we'll delve into their customs, experiences, music, ancestral dances, rituals, and crafts.

Finally, after getting lunch at your own expense, we'll return to the meeting point in Quito.

Accommodation

The tour includes one night's stay at Hosteria Las Heliconias or a similar accommodation in Tena. Please note that the prices specified are per person in a double room, with a supplement for single rooms.
