Quimbaya Bamboo Raft Ride
At 9 am, we'll meet at Bolivar Square, where an all-terrain vehicle will be waiting to take us to the river port of Quimbaya.
Once there, we'll board a typical bamboo raft, like the ones used by the pre-Columbian Indians, with which we'll travel for 4 hours through the region of Quimbaya.
We'll enjoy the nature of Quimbaya and see the flora and fauna that inhabit the banks of the river. Halfway through the raft ride, we'll pause to disembark and visit a local farm, where we'll have a delicious typical lunch and taste the famous sudado montañero, a chicken and potato stew with tomato, onion, and yucca.
After lunch, we'll continue navigating downstream while telling you about the most curious stories of this area. Finally, we'll return to the dock, where the jeep will pick us up to take us back to the starting point, arriving between 1 and 2 pm.
