Jurasi Hot Springs Hike
Jurasi Hot Springs Hike
Between 7 and 8 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Putre and take you to the Jurasi Hot Springs.
According to the Aymara culture, the secret to eternal youth is kept in these volcanic pools. We'll discover more legends and fascinating stories during our 3-hour hike through northern Chile's beautiful scenery.
As we walk, we'll see how the different hot springs spread out as far as the eye can see. The temperature of these pools, which are located at an altitude of 13,451 feet (4,100 metres), ranges between 40 and 50 degrees Celsius. We'll also see how there are both indoor and outdoor bathing areas, as well as spots where you can get medicinal mud treatments.
We'll take a break at the halfway point so you can fill up with a picnic lunch of sandwiches, dried fruit, chocolate and some juice. Once we've finished eating, we'll continue hiking through the fascinating volcanic environment next to the Jurasi Hot Springs.
Afterwards, we'll return to the starting point of our hike and take you back to your hotel in Putre. We'll drop you off between 12 and 1 pm.
