Itinerary

At the scheduled time, we'll meet in front of the Pushkar Lake and begin this free tour. Did you know the the legend, the Hindu god Brahma dropped a lotus flower into a holy lake to choose the location of a new city, and thus was founded Pushkar, whose name means "blue lotus flower" in Sanskrit?

On this tour, we'll discover all the secrets hidden in this city in the state of Rajasthani while we walk to take in some of its most iconic monuments such as the Brahma Temple. This pilgrimage location was built in the 14th century from marble and in a style with an orange and blue painted stone.

From here, we'll walk until we reach the Rangji Temple, one of the oldest of more than 400 temples in Pushkar and then we'll continue the tour at Varaha Temple, dedicated to the protector gods of the lads. Do you know the legend that surrounds this figure? We'll learn all about it!

Finally, aftrer 2 hours, we'll bring this activity to an end at Ati Prachin Shri Atamteshwar Mahadev Mandir, a temple dedicated to the Shiva god.
