Bike Tour of Punta del Este
Bike Tour of Punta del Este
We'll meet up in Playa Brava, where we'll pick up our bikes and begin our unique ride around this beautiful beach city. First, we'll head to the iconic symbol of Punta del Este, the sculpture of La Mano (the Hand).
Then, we'll pedal along the idyllic Paseo de las Américas boulevard until we reach the Barco Hundido shipwreck which lies on the rocky shore. This is the Argentinean ship Santa María de Luján which sank in here in 1965. We'll continue exploring the spectacular coastline of Punta del Este at El Emir Beach, Los Ingleses Beach, and Punta Salina.
Next, we'll arrive at the Plaza de Gran Bretaña square, which is located at the southernmost point in the country. Other fantastic locations we'll encounter on the route are the beautifully preserved Punta del Este Lighthouse, the Weather Observation tower, and Church of Our Lady of Candelaria.
Our guided bike tour concludes by passing through the captivating port area of the city until arriving at the Paseo La Pastora boulevard, where we'll get off our bikes.
