Have fun playing with squirrel monkeys and learn about the habits of these friendly mammals with this fantastic trip to Monkeyland from Punta Cana!

Description

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Punta Cana and travel to the interior of the Dominican Republic in a fantastic safari truck.

Our first stop is at La Casa del Coco: an agro-food center where we'll taste traditional Dominican products. You'll try coconut oil, chocolate, coffee, and fresh seasonal fruits. In addition, we'll see how some of these foods are cultivated.

Next, we'll continue on our journey to Monkeyland where the friendly Dominican squirrel monkeys await. We'll interact with these playful mammals and have the opportunity to feed them. They love being close to humans!

During the 45-minute tour of Monkeyland, we'll also learn about some of the squirrel monkeys' habits. We'll discover their feeding, breeding, and living habits, which might surprise you!

After visiting Monkeyland, we'll return to your hotel in Punta Cana and drop you off after 5 hours of excursion.

Es una excursión que vale la pena 100%. De camino te enseñan la vida realista de los dominicanos, como viven, sus casas y hasta donde buscan la pareja los solteros. Cuando llegamos hacia el Monkey land, te explican cosas básicas de como comportarte y luego ya os acompañan. Se nota que los monos viven muy bien, no están nada maltratados. Son muy graciosos y nada agresivos. El guía que nos toco (Carlos) fui maravilloso, aunque hablamos p en español, el habló con nosotros en ruso, fue una pasada. Translate this opinion into English.

It is a trip that is 100% worth it. On the way they show you the realistic life of the Dominicans, how they live, their houses and even where singles look for a partner. When we arrive at Monkey Land, they explain basic things about how to behave and then they accompany you. You can see that the monkeys live very well, they are not mistreated at all. They are very funny and not aggressive at all. The guide we had (Carlos) was wonderful, although we spoke in Spanish, he spoke to us in Russian, it was amazing. Opinion translated. Show original.

Très bonne excursion avec l'explication de la production de cacao et café mais un peu longue. Guide au top, gentil et drôle et qui parlait français ! Allez attendre devant votre hôtel 5-10 mins avant car guide à l'heure voir en avance, c'est parfait ! Je recommande, très sympathique à faire !

Linda actividad para hacer con la familia, llegamos al lugar y nos explicaron las normas, luego debimos dejar todas las pertenencias en un lugar habilitado para ello. Yo preferí pagar el locker de 5us o pueden llevar su propio candado para hacer uso de ellos. Lo que si pueden entrar son celulares y cámaras fotográficas para capturar sus propias imágenes. Nice activity to do with the family, we arrived at the place and they explained the rules to us, then we had to leave all our belongings in a place designated for it. I preferred to pay the 5us locker or you can bring your own padlock to use them. What they can bring in are cell phones and cameras to capture their own images. Fue muy divertido. La recogida en el hotel fue correcta u puntual. De guía tenía a Ángel y el chófer fue Enrique. Durante el camino, Ángel iba hablando sobre La República Dominicana, su gente y su cultura. En Monkeyland se está 45 minutos con los monos .Es muy divertido sentir los monos trepando por todo el cuerpo buscando la comida que te dan el personal en un bol. Luego te llevan a un sitio al lado para explicarte sobre el cacao y café y puedes probar y comprar productos ecológicos. Translate this opinion into English.

It was fun. The pick up at the hotel was correct or punctual. I had Ángel as a guide and the driver was Enrique. Along the way, Ángel was talking about the Dominican Republic, its people and its culture. In Monkeyland you spend 45 minutes with the monkeys. It is very funny to feel the monkeys climbing all over your body looking for the food that the staff give you in a bowl. Then they take you to a place next door to explain about cocoa and coffee and you can try and buy organic products. Opinion translated. Show original.
