Dominican Cooking Class
Description
On the day of your cooking class, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Punta Cana and head to a special kitchen located in the east of the Dominican Republic.
Kitted out in our aprons, we'll begin the cooking class following the instructions of our expert multilingual guide to prepare our chosen recipe. We'll learn all about each special ingredient and what they add to the dish. At the end of the practical class, we'll be able to taste the fruits of our labour and judge our cooking skills for ourselves, trying the dishes we've prepared accompanied by soft drinks or water.
After two and a half hours of activity, we'll say goodbye and leave you at your hotel in Punta Cana.
Menu
During the booking process, you'll be asked to decide which tasty Dominican dish you'd like to learn how to cook. You can opt for the typical sancocho, a soup made with meat & vegetables, a red snapper fish dish.
If you prefer, why not try your hand at preparing a traditional Caribbean lobster dish? As we share fascinating facts about the catching of this delectable seafood, we'll guide you through a mouthwatering recipe that incorporates authentic Caribbean ingredients like plantains and cassava.
Schedules
Depending on the day you choose, the dishes vary:
- Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: we'll learn to make chillo fish
- Tuesday: we'll make sancocho
- Thursday: we'll make Caribbean lobster
