Chocolate Workshop
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Punta Cana and take you to a culinary center to enjoy a sweet three-hour culinary experience.
Once we arrive, you'll be welcomed with a glass of mamajuana, one of the most traditional Dominican drinks - cheers! After toasting to an excellent day, our instructor will give us a brief explanation of the history of chocolate.
Once the theoretical part is over, it'll be time to put what we've learned into practice and begin our cooking class. Guided by the chef, we'll prepare mouth-watering chocolate recipes - will you be able to resist snacking on the ingredients?
At the end of the chocolate workshop, we'll take you back to your hotel in Punta Cana.
What will you learn to make?
This chocolatey experience includes the following workshops:
Chocolate truffles workshop
Learn to make delicious chocolate truffles, a straightforward recipe that requires special molds for the ball shape and, of course, some good cocoa. After preparing them and cooling them, it'll be time to taste your handmade treats!
Chocolate bark workshop
What is chocolate bark, you ask? They're flat slabs of chocolate topped with different tasty ingredients like hazelnuts, pistachios, candy... and anything else you could possibly imagine! You'll be able to decorate the bark to your liking before heating it in the oven. Then, after it's cooled again, it'll be time to taste what you've made - irresistible!
