At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Puno and head to the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve, a stunning and unique area located in the regions of Arequipa and Moquegua.
We'll head inland and make the first stop at the Lagunillas Lagoon. Here, we'll enjoy the views of this natural place and admire the different birds that fly over this area. Did you know that there are more than 25 different species of birds in this area?
After this break, we'll continue the route and head to Pampa Cañahuas, where we'll see different rock formations and the numerous vicuñas, llamas, and alpacas that inhabit the area. You'll have 25 minutes of free time to enjoy this peculiar corner of the Salinas y Aguada Blanca National Reserve.
The next stop will be at the Patapampa volcano viewpoint. From here, we'll be able to admire rock formations taller than 13,123 ft (4,000 meters)!
Finally, we'll travel to Chivay and drop you off in its main square 6 hours after departure.
