On this tour to the Postojna Cave and Predjama Castle, you'll visit two of the most important landmarks in Slovenia. Let's cross the border and discover what's lies hidden behind the Slovenian rocks.
Postojna Cave & Predjama Castle Tour
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Pula at 9 am and drive past the border to Slovenia and head to our destination: the Postojna Cave, considered the most famous and visited karst cave in Europe. You'll see why as soon as we step inside.
Ready to venture into the cave? As we explore the cave, we'll also admire the incredible rock formations created over the years - you'll even find stalagmites 5 meters long.
To fully explore the cave, we'll hop on a little train that will take us to the areas not accessible on foot. On this very unique mode of transport, we'll admire places such as the Murano glass chandeliers and the ballroom. And we'll even get to see olms, also known as the 'dragon's offspring'.
Our next stop will be Predjama Castle, a unique fortress perched on a cliff. After admiring the castle's exterior, we'll enter the fortress and explore its different rooms while listening to the fascinating stories that took place there, such as the legend of Erasmus of Predjama, also referred to as the Slovenian Robin Hood.
Lastly, we'll make our way back to Pula. We'll drop you off at your hotel around 4 pm, ending the tour.
