Puerto Williams Tour & Los Bronces Waterfall Tour
Puerto Williams Tour & Los Bronces Waterfall Tour
Having met up at 3:30 pm, we'll set off from the Centro Comercial 140B on our walking tour of Puerto Williams.
During our tour, we'll visit the main points in this city on Navarino Island. This beautiful Chilean island sits in the middle of the Tierra del Fuego archipelago. We'll also stop at different spots to admire the Beagle Channel. This narrow sea passage, which serves as a natural border with Argentina, connects the Atlantic Ocean with the Pacific Ocean.
Our tour of Puerto Williams will finish by the Martín Gusinde Anthropological Museum or in front of the Micalvi Yacht Club. We'll then hit the road and travel further inland to explore some other parts of the island.
We'll see various remains of the Beagle conflict, which was a dispute between Chile and Argentina for the possession of these Fuegian territories. In addition, we'll learn about the Yaghan community, who are one of the world's southernmost Indigenous groups.
Next, we'll head to Los Bronces Bridge. From there, we'll walk to the waterfall of the same name and take in its beauty. After admiring the scenery, we'll return to the bridge and travel back to the meeting point in Puerto Williams. Our tour will come to an end here at 7:30 pm as we enjoy an aperitif with local products and a craft beer.
