Discover the history and most important monuments of the two main cities of the Los Lagos region with this fascinating tour of Puerto Varas and Puerto Montt!
Puerto Varas and Puerto Montt Tour
After picking you up at your hotel, we'll start with a guided tour of Puerto Varas. Are you ready to get to know this beautiful city in depth?
The influence of the first inhabitants of the city, German immigrants, can still be seen in the architecture of the historic buildings. One of them is the Church of the Sagrado Corazon de Jesus, a wooden temple inspired by the churches of Germany's Baden-Württemberg region and one of the most iconic symbols of Puerto Varas.
After strolling through the historic center, we'll stroll along the beautiful Lake Llanquihue and, weather permitting, enjoy an incredible panoramic view of the Osorno Volcano.
Next stop, Puerto Montt! Did you know that this city is the capital of the Los Lagos region and that it owes its name to one of the first presidents of Chile?
We'll admire the city from the top of a viewpoint and then make our way to the center of Puerto Montt. There, we'll explore the oldest part of the city and admire the façades of the government buildings that stand in Plaza de Armas. Then, we'll continue on to Avenida Costanera, where we'll enjoy the vistas of the bay and take hundreds of pictures.
Also in Puerto Montt, we'll visit the Angelmó market. In the stalls of this traditional market overlooking the seafront, you'll find typical products such as seafood, fish, and handicrafts. During the last stage of our visit, we'll discover the Angelmó area, famous for its large number of craft shops and, of course, for its seafaring tradition.
After approximately four hours of sightseeing, we'll end the tour and drop you back at your hotel.
