Alerce Andino National Park Trek
At 9 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Puerto Varas and head south, bordering the Reloncaví Estuary. After an hour and a half's journey, we'll reach Alerce Andino National Park.
Once we reach the park, we'll start our guided trek through vegetation full of ulmo, guindo, Chilean myrtle and hazel trees, as well as countless more tree species and flora. You'll become a true nature expert!
Along this 4-kilometer trail, we'll also pass by the river that flows through Alerce Andino National Park, arriving at the Saltos del Chaica, incredible waterfalls that will leave you speechless. There you'll enjoy an hour of free time to take a dip or have your own packed lunch surrounded by nature.
After a break to replenish our energy, we'll continue our trek towards one of the emblematic symbols of this national park; the age-old larch tree. You'll be surprised to find out how old this tree is, and wait till you see how big it is!
At the end of our guided trek, we'll return to Puerto Varas and drop you off at your hotel, arriving at 4 pm.
