Marble Caves of Puerto Tranquilo
In this case, we'll enjoy a one-and-a-half-hour cruise along the shores of Puerto Tranquilo. In this area of the Aysén region, in the heart of Chilean Patagonia, we'll see the famous marble caves. These are a spectacular set of calcium carbonate caves, belonging to a natural space declared a National Monument of Chile in the category of Nature Sanctuary.
We'll also sail through the so-called marble tunnel and skirt the shores of two well-known lake islets, known as the marble cathedral and the marble chapel.
We'll follow a route very similar to that of the Puerto Tranquilo Marble Caves Boat Trip.
Marble Caves of Puerto Sánchez
If you choose this option, we'll set sail from Puerto Tranquilo for a one-hour and 45-minute trip along the coast of Puerto Sanchez. First we'll skirt the coastline of the Panichini islet, where we'll see the old ships that remain stranded in its bay.
We'll continue the route to see the extraordinary marble caves of Puerto Sanchez. We'll also see a colony of Andean condors that live in this area.
The itinerary will be very similar to that of the Puerto Sanchez Marble Caves Boat Trip.
Marble Caves of Puerto Sánchez & Puerto Tranquilo
This route of two hours and 45 minutes will allow you to enjoy Lake General Carrera to the full. First we'll cross the shore of Puerto Sanchez and, before returning to the starting point, we'll sail along the shore of Puerto Tranquilo to admire its caves, cathedral and marble chapel.
