Full-Day Trip to the Peaks of Gran Canaria
Full-Day Trip Details
The tour begins heading to the north of the island, to see the striking neogothic temple of Arucas. This area is also famous for its banana plantations and rum.
Hit the road until you get to the picturesque village of Teror. As you visit its historic center, you’ll marvel at its multicolored balconies, typical of the Canary Islands. The bright colors contrast sharply with the lush vegetation of the mountains that surround the village. On the guided tour, you'll also visit the Nuestra Señora del Pino Basilica, home to a magnificent sculpture of the Patron Saint of Gran Canaria.
After having lunch at your own leisure in the area, you'll set off to the viewpoint of Roque Nublo in Degollada Becerra. Take a picture! Next, we'll drive down the San Bartolomé highway and embark on a guided tour of the aloe vera farm in Fataga.
Finally, we'll return to the hotel areas in the late afternoon.
