Dolphin & Whale Watching Details

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up and take you to Port Rico. There, we'll board the Spirit of the Sea, and set sail for the Atlantic waters of Gran Canaria. Onboard this comfortable vessel, we'll go in search of the amazing and varied marine life of the island's coast.

As we sail along the ocean waves, we'll see dolphins jumping alongside the boat and watch whales swimming up close. The crew will tell us all about the characteristics of the different species.

During the tour, you'll discover why Gran Canaria is proud of the great variety of species of cetaceans that live on its coast. This is an experience to remember forever!

After 2.5 hours, we'll say our goodbyes at our initial meeting point.

Activity Pickup

The tour includes pickup in the areas of: Playa del Ingles, Maspalomas, Meloneras, San Agustin and Mogan.

If you're not staying in any of these areas, you'll have to select the option without pickup and go to the meeting point located at the Spirit of the Sea jetty, Calle Puerto Base, 35130 Puerto Rico de Gran Canaria, Las Palmas.

Era nuestra primera vez reservando con Civitatis y todo fue genial. La excursión con Spirit of the Sea muy recomendable: vimos delfines en su hábitat natural. Como mejora, podrían avisar que la hora de recogida es orientativa, aunque nos atendieron muy bien por teléfono. Si te mareas, no lo recomiendo, el mar se mueve bastante. It was our first time booking with Civitatis, and everything was great. The Spirit of the Sea excursion is highly recommended: we saw dolphins in their natural habitat. As an improvement, they could warn us that the pickup time is approximate, although they provided excellent service over the phone. If you get seasick, I don't recommend it; the sea is quite rough. Recomendable! y eso que el mar estaba algo revuelto, mucho oleaje y viento, después de casi 2h pensamos que no sería posible avistar nada pero el capitán Juan y su tripulación se esforzaron en que pudiéramos ver tanto delfines como tortugas marinas Translate this opinion into English.

Fue espectacular!! Vimos un grupo de delfines bastante amplio, aunque tardaron en aparecer hay que tener paciencia. Sin duda una experiencia única que siempre intentamos hacer en zonas costeras.
