Description
At the scheduled time, our adventure will begin at the Amber Cove Cruise Park cruise terminal, where we'll hop on our scooters and then receive some guidelines on how to make the most of this activity. From this moment, we'll take our scooters and begin this scooter tour of Puerto Plata.
Throughout the tour, we'll make stops to visit the different iconic locations in this coastal town in the northern part of the Dominican Republic. Among them include the Macorix House of Rum, where you'll be able to try different types of rum, Independence Park, and San Felipe Fort, a bastion that was used to protect the city from pirates in years past.
We'll also make our way to Calle Paraguas, a colourful pedestrian street, and the Paseo de Doña Blanca. Then, we'll head towards the Fifi Jewelry Amber Museum, where you'll be able to learn about the history and characteristics of the country's precious amber stone.
Finally, we'll reach the Del Oro Chocolate Factory, where you'll be able to learn about the product process of organic Dominican cacao and try some different types of chocolate. Can you think of a sweeter plan?
Finally, we'll arrive at Puerto Plata Beach, where you'll have free time to take a dip in the clear blue waters and relax on the white sand. Welcome to Paradise!
After 3.5 hours together, we'll return to the starting point on our scooters.
