Between 6:45 and 8:15 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Puerto Plata and drive by minibus to the north-eastern part of the island. After a two-hour drive, we'll reach our first destination: the Blue Lagoon.
At the Lago Azul, or Blue Lagoon, you'll be dazzled by the stunning scenery: crystal-clear waters sparkling in the sun's rays. We'll get to enjoy a refreshing swim in this unique setting, surrounded by nature, before continuing our tour.
The next destination on the tour is Playa Grande, one of the most beautiful beaches in the northern Dominican Republic. With its white sand, palm trees and blue waters, this beach is undoubtedly a paradise setting!
After a well-deserved swim in the sea, we'll enjoy lunch near Playa Grande while we learn curious facts about the area. The incredible views of the sea, together with the delicious local specialities we eat, will leave you with unforgettable memories of Playa Grande.
For the finishing touch on the tour, we'll visit a local fruit plantation, where we will learn all about the most famous fruits in the country, how they're grown and, most importantly, how they taste. Delicious!
The tour will finish back at hotels in Puerto Plata after a nine hour excursion.
Hotel Pick Up
When making your reservation, you'll be asked to choose the hotel area of Puerto Plata that you'd like to be picked up from. Pick up is at the following times:
- Senator: pick up at 6:45 am.
- Cofresí: pick up at 7 am.
- Costa Dorada: pick up at 7:30 am.
- Playa Dorada: pick up at 7:45 am.
- Sosúa: pick up at 7:45 am.
- Cabarete: pickup at 8:15 am
