Hiking in Amacayacu National Park
Hiking in Amacayacu National Park
At 9 am, we'll meet at the door of your hotel in Puerto Nariño to begin an exciting hiking route. We'll set off along the eco-road that'll take us deep into the jungle of the Amacayacu National Natural Park.
Our route through the Colombian Amazon jungle will be just over 4 miles, walking along the impressive wooden bridge of the park. Also, during the hike, we'll have the opportunity to see all kinds of animals and plants unique to this corner of the world.
The end of our trekking route will be at a Tikuna indigenous community, where we'll enjoy a traditional lunch with the inhabitants. Once we've regained our strength, we'll return to Puerto Nariño, but this time with a fantastic boat ride.
Keep your eyes peeled, as we may encounter some famous freshwater dolphins as we sail along the river. We'll finally arrive at Puerto Nariño at 4 pm.
