Description

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your chosen meeting point, and from there, we'll make our way towards the southern area of La Palma, the beautiful island of the Canaries.

First, we'll make our way towards the municipality of Fuencaliente in La Palma, where we'll see the landscapes of San Antonio and the Teneguía Volancos. The former last erupted in 1677, while the latter last erupted in 1971.

 Then, we'll continue the tour of La Palma next to the lighthouse and the salt flats. The next stop will be at Las Manchas: a neighbourhood belonging to the municipalities of El Paso and Los Llanos de Aridane where in September 2021 the eruption of Tajogaite Volcano, the youngest of the canary islands took place. In Las Manchas, we'll stop off at the Plaza de La Glorieta, whose mosaics have been inspired by Gaudí's works.

From there, we'll make our way to Plaza de Tajuya, where the viewpoint, from which the 2021 eruptions could be seen. Afterwards, we'll make an hour-long stop in the municipality of El Paso so that you can grab a bite to eat.

After the break, we'll climb up to the La Cumbrecita viewpoint. This place will offer us some amazing views of the Caldera de Taburiente National Park. After admiring the views we'll go to another outstanding spot: the Mirador del Llano del Jable.

We'll make our last stop at the Llano de Las Ventas viewpoint and, from there, we'll return to the different meeting points, where we'll bring this tour to an end after 8 hours together.

  • Los Cancajos: pickup at 8:30 am at the Tourist Office bus stop.

  • Fuencaliente: pickup at 8:50 am at the Hotel Princess.
