La Escondida Waterfall, Coihue de los Columpios + Cochamó Excursion
Description
At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel to begin this excursion to Cochamó. Throughout the journey, we'll skirt along the Llanquihue Lake, which is known for its undeniable beauty. Did you know that it's the second-largest lake in Chile?
After 1.5 hours, we'll make our first stop of the day to go on a hike toward the summit of the hill where we'll find Coihue de los Columpios. We'll walk for around 30 minutes, so bring good walking shoes. Off we go!
When we arrive at our destination, we'll have some amazing views of the Cochamó Valley and the Reloncaví Estuary. There, you'll have some free time to go up to the swings and enjoy the feeling of being completely free. Sounds exciting doesn't it?
Next, we'll head for the town of Cochamó, a charming spot on the banks of the Reloncaví Estuary with a unique church built in a Chilota architectural style.
Then, we'll make our way towards La Esconidada Waterfall, a waterfall in the middle of nature in the Cochamó Valley. Once there, we'll admire the landscape that's made up of blue and white colours from the water. You'll be able to enjoy this location for around a half hour before we begin our return journey.
After 9 hours in total, we'll return back to the hotels, where this tour will be brought to an end.
