Punta Loma and Cerro Avanzado Trip
At the selected time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Puerto Madryn and head to the sea lion colony in Punta Loma.
The sea lion colony that lives in this area of the province of Chubut is one of the most numerous in Argentina. We'll observe these animals from a privileged viewpoint, where we'll also tell you how the males attract the attention of the females during the mating season.
We'll continue by visiting the San Guillermo Estancia, the starting point for the road that leads to Cerro Avanzado. There we'll take a short walk to the top of the hill where you'll enjoy spectacular panoramic views. If you choose the morning schedule we'll enjoy a chicken stew, while if you opt for the afternoon trip we'll have a light snack.
After regaining our energy, we'll go through the dunes of Punta Este. There we'll make a brief stop so you can take a closer look at its small crescent-shaped dunes. These tiny hills are located next to the beach, creating a beautiful contrast between the yellowish tones of the sand and the blue of the Atlantic Ocean. Remember to bring your camera! Those who wish can also do some sandboarding on these famous dunes.
Finally, we'll return to your hotel in Puerto Madryn, where we'll arrive five hours after the pickup (either at 10 am or 4 pm).
Pickup
The trip includes the pickup and transfer back to the hotels in the center of Puerto Madryn. If you're staying in other more remote areas, we'll pick you up at 536 Julio Argentino Roca Avenue.
Animal watching
Animals are unpredictable. The sighting of a greater or lesser number of specimens will depend on various factors such as the meteorology of the moment or the times of reproduction and breeding of the different species.
