Kayak Tour and Sea Lion Sighting
Kayak Tour and Sea Lion Sighting
After picking you up at your hotel in Puerto Madryn at 9 am, we will head for Puerto Pirámides. We will make a stop halfway to visit the Istmo Ameghino interpretation center to learn more about the origins and characteristics of the Valdés Peninsula.
We will return to the vehicle and arrive at the estancia where the kayaks are located. We will equip ourselves with all the necessary equipment and explain to you some safety rules to use during the activity.
When we are ready, we will walk to the beach and start paddling in the waters of Golfo Nuevo. We will enjoy the incredible views of the coast while we approach a colony of sea lions. When you least expect it these friends will appear in the middle of the sea, it will be amazing!
Do you know the main differences between seals and sea lions? We will reveal many fascinating facts about these mammals and we will also talk about how poaching has threatened these animals for years.
After meeting these friendly friends, we will paddle back to the estancia for a delicious picnic lunch which includes a chicken sandwich, a piece of fruit, a cereal bar, and water.
Back on the minibus, we'll finish the activity and drop you off at your hotel at 3 pm.
