Tour Details
We'll pick you up from your hotel at the indicated time and leave Puerto Madryn behind as we reach the city of Trelew. Get ready to learn about thousands of years of history in Argentine Patagonia!
When we arrive at the Egidio Feruglio Paleontological Museum, we'll enter its facilities while we talk about its foundation and conservation. Hundreds of fossils of the fauna of the species that inhabited the southernmost part of Latin America are exhibited in this 600-square meter (6,458 sq ft) area.
We'll reveal the details of how it works and the continuous research work in this museum: the work in paleontology in this place is never-ending! During the tour, we'll pass through the different rooms, paleontological parks, and laboratories. In each one, we'll learn about records of the Mesozoic era, the first humans and the appearance of primitive organisms, which will captivate you from beginning to end!
Once we have toured the paleontological museum, we'll head for the coast. There, a boat will be waiting for us to take us to the area where we'll embark on an unforgettable dolphin-watching experience.
During the 1-hour boat ride, we'll sail, making stops in the area where the dolphins usually frequent. What makes this experience even more special, is the peculiar pink dolphins or “toninas”. These charming mammals are extremely playful and one of the smallest on this coast—you're sure to fall in love with them!
Finally, we'll make our way back to Puerto Madryn and say goodbye, leaving you at your hotel after 5 to 6 hours of activity in total.
