Puerto Madryn 4x4 Tour
Description
At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Puerto Madryn to begin this 4x4 tour. Ready for an exciting experience? Let's go!
We'll first make our way towards the area of Punta Cuevas, which is also called Curva del Indio, where the Welsh first settled when they arrived in Argentina in the 19th century. There, we'll recount the history of the event and discover how it left its mark on the country.
We'll continue the tour around the Punta Loma Reserve, whose natural area is protected. We'll make three stops on the outskirts of this spot so that you can enjoy the stunning surroundings with views of the sea. Pay attention, we might be able to spot some sea lions!
We'll continue the tour at Paraná Beach, from where we'll have a perfect view of the wreck of the Folías Ship. Did you know that this fishing vessel shipwrecked on these beaches on the 27th of December 1980? The cause was a fire on board which began 4 days earlier.
To put the cherry on top of this tour, we'll make our way towards one of the most paradisical corners of Puerto Madryn: Cerro Avanzado. There, we'll be given a brief chat about geology and sea fossils, native to this area. We'll also enjoy an aperitif consiting of coffee or tea and some biscuits.
Finally, we'll say our goodbyes back at the starting point after 3.5 hours together.
