Los Frailes Beach Tour

At 9 am, we'll meet at the Hotel Piedra del Mar in Puerto Lopez. From there, we'll take a trip that will take us to Machalilla National Park, specifically to one of its most spectacular beaches: Los Frailes. Let a day full of adventure begin!

During the short journey, we'll tell you some interesting facts about the park. Did you know that it's a protected area that takes care of the last dry forest reserves? Within it, we find the beautiful beach of Los Frailes, a stretch of white sand and calm waters ideal for relaxing.

Here you'll have about three hours of free time to enjoy the waves, take a dip, walk along the various trails, or explore the forest and its viewpoints - it's up to you!

After four hours, we'll finish the excursion by returning to your hotel in Puerto Lopez at 1 pm.

Los Frailes Beach + Agua Blanca Community Tour

Would you like an even more complete option? With this option, in addition to Los Frailes beach, you'll visit the community of Agua Blanca. In the morning, we'll follow the same itinerary described above. At 1 pm, we'll go to the indigenous population, which is also located within the Machalilla National Park.

Once there and together with the guide, we'll visit the Agua Blanca museum to see the different pieces and objects of the Manteña, Huancavilca and other civilizations before the Incas.

Afterwards, we'll walk through the dry forest until we reach a sulphurous water lagoon where we'll take a dip. And did you know that its waters have various benefits for the skin? Finally, we'll return to Puerto López at 3 pm.
