Bike Tour of Iguazú National Park
Bike Tour of Iguazú National Park
After picking you up at the indicated time at your hotel in Puerto Iguazú, we'll head directly to the Iguazú National Park, an incredible natural beauty in the Argentine province of Misiones.
Once we arrive at this protected natural area, we'll start the tour from the Gendarmerie post on National Route 101, a dirt road that goes through the jungle to connect Puerto Iguazú with the town of Comandante Andresito. Throughout the route, we'll make several stops to try and spot native butterfly species, various birds such as toucans, and mammals like the tapir.
In this first section of the cycling route, which will be 1.2 miles (2 km) long, we'll also learn about the local plant species. Then, we'll ride 1.8 miles (3 km) until we reach the shore of the Iguazú River. Although we won't see its famous waterfalls, we'll enjoy extraordinary panoramic views of the green natural environment that characterizes this area of South America.
We'll then take another break so that you can recharge your batteries with the food you've brought with you. While we rest, you'll be able to appreciate more calmly the lush jungle landscapes that extend as far as the eye can see along the Iguazu River.
The bike tour will conclude with our return to the Gendarmerie post. From there, we'll take you back to your hotel in Puerto Iguazú, arriving 4 hours after pickup.
