Turtle Release Experience
Turtle Release Experience
Having picked you up, we'll make our way to Colotepec, a municipality found only 25 minutes away from Puerto Escondido, enjoying a landscape full of papaya and banana plantations along the way.
The tour arrives at the turtle protection centre, one of the marine animals most in danger of extinction. Four species of turtles make nests and live on the Mexican Oaxaca coast, the Leatherback, Olive Ridley, Galápagos Green and Hawksbill. And as well as learning about the work the centre does to protect these animals, you'll help release the recently hatched ones into the sea!
The day will end with sunset over Colotepec Beach, and after an unforgettable day, we'll return to the hotels of Puerto Escondido.
