Experience an unforgettable evening as you enjoy the Mexican night on the Manialtepec Lagoon, with bioluminescent creatures lighting your every move.

Night Tour of the Manialtepec Lagoon

we'll pick you up from your hotel in Puerto Escondido at around 7:30 pm, and make our way to the Manialtepec Lagoon. After an hour and a half, and with the last rays of sunlight disappearing, you'll discover one of the natural world's most impressive sights.

This lagoon is famous for its spectacular bioluminescence - a unique effect whereby the microorganisms living in the lake naturally give off light at the slightest movement. You can swim in the water, and upon contact with your body these organisms will glow - seeming as though it's your body itself producing the spectacular effect!

When you get off the boat, you'll spend a little over an hour in this magical environment, relaxing and enjoying the evening to the sounds of nature all around you. A perfect experience to calm body and mind.

Then we'll head back to the hotels in Puerto Escondido, arriving at around 10 pm.

Precio bastante competente y acorde a lo que ofrecen. Nos recogieron en un mini autobús super equipado en la puerta de nuestro alojamiento y una vez llegamos a la laguna nos explicaron un poco el proceso y nos bañamos. El guía fue muy simpático y agradable. Si que recomiendo llevar una muda de bañador o ropa interior rápida para no ir muy mojada al autobús. The price is quite reasonable and in line with what they offer. They picked us up in a super-equipped minibus at the door of our accommodation and once we arrived at the lagoon they explained the process to us a bit and we went swimming. The guide was very friendly and pleasant. I do recommend bringing a quick change of swimsuit or underwear so as not to get too wet on the bus. Totally recommended with this equipment. It was a challenge to get into the Manialtepec lagoon at night, but we did it, the water temperature was very pleasant and since it was a moonlit day we appreciated it in the dark tents that they built over the water. Me gusto Mucho está actividad tanto por las personas que me llevaron y orientaron, como los compañeros de actividad, su educación y apoyo. La laguna es maravillosa y el fenómeno un experiencia divertidísima. Te permiten bañarte en la noche durante media hora.
