Discover the islands and fauna in Argentine Patagonia with this Deseado Estuary Speedboat Tour. You'll see the great biodiversity that this area within the province of Santa Cruz has to offer!

Deseado Estuary Speedboat Tour

At 3 pm, we'll meet at the Puerto Penacho pier for a boat trip to the Deseado Estuary.

While sailing in these waters, we'll admire the landscape that has been declared a Natural Reserve, and learn about the local fauna. If the conditions are favourable, we'll see the Commerson's dolphins or Peale's dolphins. The turquoise waters of the estuary are perfect for sightings!

First, we'll head towards Chaffers Island and see its colony of Magellanic penguins. The tour will continue to Elena Island, where we'll see a great variety of birds. The boat will then head to Larga Island, where we'll see the friendly sea lions!

Our next stop will be Bird Island, where we'll disembark to see the Patagonian penguins that live there up close. You'll also have the opportunity to taste a homemade pudding accompanied by coffee, tea, mate or chocolate milk, as you prefer.

The boat will arrive back at the departure pier at 5:30 pm.
