Visit the highest peak in Spain and admire the volcano rising to 3718 metres with this Teide Cable Car + Hike Experience. You'll enjoy incredible views and an unforgettable hiking route.
Teide Cable Car + Hike Experience
After picking you up by bus from one of the different meeting points at the scheduled time, we'll set off for Teide National Park, where we'll find the cable car.
The journey in the cable car cabins will take us approximately 10 minutes. We'll climb over 1000 metres until we reach the top station located at 3555 metres above sea level.
We'll admire the landscape and start walking along the Telesforo Bravo, the hiking route that will take us to the top of the volcano. To do this you need an official permit, but thanks to this tour... you won't have to worry about anything! The paperwork will be ready.
We'll walk up the mountain for more than half a kilometre, noticing how the smell of sulphur is beginning to envelop the environment. The colour of the rocks, the views of the surroundings and the certainty of being on top of the highest peak in Spain will leave you with an unforgettable memory.
After 40 minutes of walking, we'll have the Teide at our feet. If the day is clear, we'll be able to see the summits of the nearest islands: La Gomera, El Hierro, La Palma and Gran Canaria.
It's time to start the return journey to the cable car. We'll go up in the cabins and return to the base station where the bus will be waiting for us. The tour will come to an end back at the departure points after a total of 6 hours.
Ascent to the Peak
The confirmation of this reservation is not immediate, since it is necessary to request a special permit from the national park to climb the peak of Mount Teide.
Once we receive your reservation, we'll process this permit and confirm when we have obtained the authorization. If after 72 hours you have not received the final confirmation, you can contact us to check the status of the process.
Important Info
Please note that the following people can't go on the cable car: people with cardiovascular problems, pregnant women and people with reduced mobility. Please also note that there are entry restrictions to the Teide cable car for anyone not wearing sports or hiking footwear for safety reasons. Access is prohibited with sandals, footwear without back support, heeled shoes, or smooth-soled footwear.
