Join us on an exciting boat trip to Laguna San Rafael National Park, exploring the stunning Aysén region and one of Chilean Patagonia's largest glaciers.
Chilean Patagonia Boat Trip from Puerto Chacabuco
We'll meet at Puerto Oxxean dock in Puerto Chacabuco at the scheduled time and embark on an unforgettable catamaran journey through Aysén, Chile. Enjoy a delightful onboard breakfast as we navigate the channels of Chilean Patagonia, offering breathtaking views of native forests, green islands, and lush fjords.
Learn about the unique characteristics of Patagonian landscapes as we sail south. Mid-morning, indulge in a light onboard snack, continuing our voyage through various channels. Around midday, we'll have lunch featuring different local specialities.
After lunch, we'll arrive at the spectacular natural haven of Laguna San Rafael National Park, housing a colossal glacier 2 kilometres (1.25 miles) wide and 20 kilometres (12.5 miles) long. If conditions permit, we'll disembark for a zodiac ride to the glacier covering Mount San Valentín, the highest mountain in western Patagonia at 4053 meters (13,300 feet)!
Following the boat ride, we'll return to the catamaran for a toast of whiskey with glacier ice. We'll then begin the return journey with the option to relax at the onboard bar, which offers tea, hot chocolate, or coffee.
Finally, we'll conclude the activity by docking at the Oxxean Port pier, completing our unforgettable adventure 13 hours after departure.
