At 9 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Puebla and set off for the Cantona site, two hours away.
Once there, we'll explore the courtyards, activities, houses, workplaces, and the famous Plaza de la Fertilidad. Did you know that they say that Cantona was one of the most important cities after the fall of Teotihuacán? It even had 80,000 inhabitants!
After the visit to this archaeological site, we'll go to Tepeyahualco at around 1 pm where you'll have some free time to grab lunch. With renewed energy, we'll continue the tour onto a unique geographical site in Mexico.
We'll arrive at the Alchichica Lagoon, a body of alkaline saline water up to 60 metres deep, nestled in a volcanic crater. If you look closely, you can see carbonate sediments along its shores that looks like a real coral reef - truly extraordinary!
Afterwards, we'll head back to Puebla, where we'll arrive at the hotel at 5 pm.
