Tour of Pucallpa
Tour of Pucallpa
At the time of your choice, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Pucallpa to start this panoramic tour of the capital of Ucayali, in central Peru.
We'll start by walking around Grau Square to see the Public Clock, an 8-story tower with a clock on each side, and the Malecon, from where you'll have a fantastic view of the river port of Pucallpa. From its docks, boats depart for Iquitos on the Amazon River.
Then, we'll pass in front of the Agustin Rivas Museum, dedicated to this famous local sculptor who worked with wood and whose works even reached the Vatican! Afterwards, we'll arrive at the Plaza de Armas, where we'll see the Municipality building and the cathedral of Pucallpa, which has a curious ogival-shaped structure.
Next, we'll pass through the typical neighborhoods of Pucallpa. In one of these neighborhoods, we'll come across the Usko Ayar Regional Painting School, founded by the Amazonian artist Pablo Amaringio. We'll learn about this type of cultural institution's importance for the municipality.
After 2 hours of exploring this Peruvian city, we'll conclude the panoramic tour by taking you back to your hotel.
