We'll pick you up at your hotel in Pucallpa at the time of your choice and head towards Lake Yarinacocha.
As soon as we arrive at the shore, we'll board a traditional wooden boat called a 'peke peke' and set sail the lake while admiring the Amazonian wildlife. Did you know that legend has it that this reservoir was formed by the tears of a mermaid who fell madly in love with a human?
Along the way we'll see the famous castle of Yarinacocha, a large white house surrounded by bamboo that looks like a fairytale palace. But that's not all, we'll see some Shipibo-Conibo indigenous populations settled on the shore of the lake.
Then we'll get off the boat to visit La Jungla Zoo, an enclosure with a great variety of species that have been rescued. We'll see crocodiles, snakes, tapirs and pirarucu bony-tongued fish, among many other animals. And if you're feeling brave enough then you can even hold an anaconda in your hands!
Afterwards, we'll go to the handicraft shop Caserio 11 de Agosto to see the handmade pieces and traditional clothing. On the way back by boat you'll be able to watch the birds that fly over the area, including macaws, woodpeckers and blue turtledoves.
Finally, we'll take you back to your hotel after four and a half hours of activity.
