Snorkelling in the turquoise waters of Providencia is a must-do activity. You'll see the marine fauna of Morgan's Head, the McBean Lagoon National Park and other paradise-like cays.
Description
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel and head to the port, where we'll board a boat that will bring us to snorkel in the crystal clear waters of Providencia.
First of all, we'll sail to Morgan's Head, where we'll anchor, and you'll have your first contact with the paradisiacal waters that bathe this rock. During the 20 minutes of snorkelling, you'll be able to appreciate the fascinating marine world that inhabits the area, admiring coloured fish and starfish.
We'll then return to the boat and approach Cayo Basalto and Cayo Palmera, at the back of Santa Catalina Island. On this second dive, you'll continue seeing the diversity of fish and corals that inhabit its waters, as well as stingrays and manta rays. Fascinating!
The third anchorage is Crab Cay, a small island located within the Old Providence McBean Lagoon National Park. Here, if you're lucky, you may spot turtles or barracudas. Finally, we'll go to White Soal to see the transplantation of corals and marine species from the waters of Providence.
Finally, we'll head back to the starting point and take you back to your hotel after 3 hours of marine experience.
