At the indicated time, we'll meet in front of the City Hall of Prignano Cilento, where the mayor of the municipality will welcome us and invite us to get to know this beautiful town in the Campania region!
First, in Piazza Municipio, we'll see the contemporary art monument Canne, by Elio Rumma. Then, we'll walk through the medieval streets of Prignano Cilento, which will surprise you with its religious architecture!
We'll walk along the Cuesta di San Giuseppe, passing under its arches and doorways, and see a medieval well and the chapel of San Giuseppe.
Next, we'll arrive at the Tempone, one of the entrance gates to the historic center of Prignano Cilento. In the center, we'll visit an artisan factory of Cilento white figs, a type of ancient fig. We'll see the facilities and garden, and taste some delicacies such as the Monnato white fig – ideal for those with a sweet tooth!
The guided tour of Prignano will continue outside the Palazzo Marchesale Cardone and the church of San Nicola. Then, we'll cap off the tour with a lunch including two courses and a drink, which you'll enjoy accompanied by breathtaking views of the Amalfi Coast!
Finally, we'll return to the meeting point 6 hours after the start of the tour.
