On this activity in the Tajuvas Canyon, we'll hike through breathtaking gorge landscapes before embarking on a thrilling adventure aboard quad bikes!
Description
At the indicated time we'll meet you at Rua Mario Bordignon, where we'll be waiting for you with the quads to start driving around Praia Grande. Are you ready for some adventure?
After brief introductions, we'll get on our quads, leave the town behind us and head out onto roads surrounded by rivers, bridges, mountains and lush nature - you'll be blown away!
Aboard our quads, we'll arrive at the Chapecó Canyon viewpoint, where we'll make a stop to ride on the swing and take pictures with incredible views in the background.
Our journey will then take us to the Tajuvas Canyon, where we'll dismount from the quads to embark on a 5-kilometre (3.1 miles) hiking trail. We'll ascend along a historic muleteer path, reaching an elevation of 750 metres (2460 feet). Upon reaching the summit, we'll commemorate this accomplishment with a sparkling wine toast. Cheers!
We'll then begin making our way back, making a stop at the Cachaças Hahn distillery, where you'll witness the production process of this traditional Brazilian drink. Our next destination will be the Carol waterfall, a spectacular cascade standing at over 30 meters (approximately 98 feet) in height. Here, you'll be able to take a refreshing swim - the perfect way to unwind after a hike!
Finally, we'll return to the starting point of the route and ride the quads back to the meeting point in Praia Grande, where we'll arrive after about 4 hours of activity.
Requirements
Please note that only people over the age of 18 with a driving licence may take the wheel of the quad bike. Children between 6 and 17 years old can only take part in the tour as passengers.
