We'll meet up at Wenceslas Square at the designated time, right in front of the entrance to the Prague National Museum. Muzeum station, from where we'll take metro line C, is conveniently located nearby.
A swift five-minute metro ride will bring us to Vyšehrad station. Upon arrival, we'll disembark and begin our exploration of one of Prague's most prominent fortresses. This remarkable walled citadel, nestled along the Vltava riverbank, holds captivating secrets and legends that will be revealed during our tour.
Our adventure in Vyšehrad Castle begins with a visit to the gardens of this magnificent baroque complex, with roots dating back to the Middle Ages. An exquisite Romanesque gem, the St. Martin Chapel, constructed in the 11th century, is a testament to its historical legacy.
Our next stop will be the Basilica of St. Peter and St. Paul. Within this splendid 19th-century neo-Gothic sanctuary, you'll explore the interior, featuring breathtaking Art Nouveau ornamentation.
Then, we'll make our way to the Vyšehrad Cemetery. Here, we'll encounter the final resting places of prominent Czech figures, including the likes of composer Antonín Dvořák, painter Alfons Mucha, and writer Karel Čapek.
