Why Should You Visit Prague Castle?

Despite its name, it isn't really a castle, but rather a complex consisting of various buildings, including St. Vitus Cathedral, the Old Royal Palace, St. George's Basilica, Franz Kafka's House in the Golden Lane, and the All Saints Church.

With your ticket to Prague Castle, you'll have access to all that there is to see on these grounds, as well as an audio guide in English with commentary on the architecture and history of the various structures within.

In St. Vitus Cathedral you'll discover some of the jewels of Czech royalty, including the Crown of Saint Wenceslas. Meanwhile, in the Rosenberg Palace, you'll be able to explore the building's most magnificent rooms.

Also not to be missed is St. George's Basilica, which houses an extensive collection of 19th-century Bohemian art from the Prague National Gallery.

At the hour of your choosing, we'll meet at the corner of the Prague Castle III complex, next to the St. Vitus Cathedral, at III. nádvoří 119 08, 119 00 Praha 1-Hrad, Czech Republic where our guide will provide a 15-minute introduction to Prague Castle in English.

After this brief explanation, during which you'll gain a better idea of how to make your way around the complex, you'll receive your ticket which will grant you admission to buildings in the complex. Your ticket will be valid for 2 consecutive days.

Finally, the member of staff who gives you the tickets will also explain how you can download a free audio guide in English to your mobile phone, which will provide you with commentary in English about the monuments of Prague Castle.
