Discover the story of Jan Žižka and the Hussites, learn about medieval justice (including practical demonstrations), and witness the construction of the Old Town Hall and Astronomical Clock. In the dimly lit halls, encounter the enigmatic figure of the Golem, a relic of ancient mysticism and folklore.
Ascending to the second floor, experience the challenging times of Nazi occupation, the bombing of Prague and Soviet control. Understand the impact of these events through the museum's exhibits.
Then, on the third floor of this expansive location, relive the euphoric Velvet Revolution and celebrate Czech global achievement. Find inspiration in the cinema hall and enjoy some stunning views of Prague. The museum also features a hidden room and surprise exhibits, ensuring a really dynamic experience.
We recommend spending between 60 and 90 minutes exploring the museum, however, feel free to take your time. Do příště!
