Headless horsemen, Templars, vampires & black magic will guide our steps during the free tour of Prague's mysteries and legends - come if you dare!
Prague Mysteries & Legends Free Tour
Join us at the Antonin Dvorak statue at the scheduled time and discover some of the Czech capital's most incredible mysteries and legends.
As night falls over the city, we'll be accompanied by headless horsemen, vampires, executioners and black magic. We'll share some fascinating Czech tales and discuss their links to different buildings in the city, such as the story of the golem and its connection to Prague's Jewish quarter.
During the tour, we'll walk past iconic places such as the National Library, the Clementinum and the churches of St. Lawrence and St. Giles. We'll also travel back in time to the Middle Ages as we walk along Liliová Street, the epicentre of one of Prague's most famous legends, and learn about the headless horseman. The only way to liberate this Templar knight, who haunts Prague's Old Town, is to pierce his heart with a sword...
We'll also talk about how alchemy and black magic have marked the more occult side of Prague as we come to the Bethlehem Chapel, the Absintherie and the Convent of Saint Agnes.
Having spent 2 hours delving into Prague's mysteries and legends, we'll finish our free tour near the Old Town Square.
