Prague Jewish Quarter & Old Town Free Tour
At the designated time, we'll meet up next to the Rudolfinum in the heart of Prague's Old Town. From here, we'll start our tour of two of the most important places in Prague's history: the Old Town and the Jewish Quarter.
The first stop on our tour will be Old Town Square, where we'll pause to admire the impressive Astronomical Clock, one of the most photographed attractions of the city. We'll continue our guided tour onto the Powder Tower, which is one of the original 13 city gates in the Old Town. As we stroll through the streets, we'll pass by many popular sights, such as the Municipal House and State Theatre.
Next, we'll come to the Jewish Quarter, where we'll see the Spanish Synagogue and the Jewish Cemetary. It's estimated that over 100,000 bodies are buried here.
Finally, after seeing examples of Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque buildings and learning about Prague's rich history, we'll end the tour back at the starting point.
